Pay Rate: $50.00/hr on W2

Description:

Manager's Notes on Skillsets: Python, LLM's, NLP, C#, Azure Cloud, Google Cloud

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To develop, maintain, test, and debug software to meet requirements in a Windows client/server environment. This involves using software development languages/environments such as PL/SQL, Oracle, Progress 4 GL, .Net, Microsoft SQL, or other platforms. The role includes formulating system scope and objectives, preparing detailed specifications, and designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Become familiar with all aspects of the application, including reports, claims management, intake services, carrier/client interfaces, and vendor/business partner interfaces.
• Analyze user needs and assist in designing specifications.
• Develop and modify software to meet specifications.
• Maintain software to meet requirements of insurance carriers and regulatory groups.
• Test and debug assigned projects and assist others in testing.
• Document new or existing software.
• Investigate call escalations, correcting data or software as necessary.
• Assist in the professional growth of programmers.
• Adhere to pre-established standards and guidelines for design and development.
• Maintain the highest quality of customer service.
• Keep up to date with revisions to software development languages and technology advances.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support the organization's quality program(s).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 6 years of relevant experience in language development or business analytics or equivalent education and experience.
• Proven experience in interpreting user requirements, business applications design, and development.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of language development and application design.
• Analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
