Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Contractor to support Deloitte's ITS Cyber Security, Risk & Compliance (CSRC) programs. The role focuses on third-party risk, compliance management, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and security awareness. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vendor security assessments, risk and compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management and a proven ability to identify, assess, and drive remediation of security risks across third-party solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct information security assessments of third-party vendors for confidentiality, privacy, and operational risk.
• Enhance risk and vulnerability assessment programs, questionnaires, and processes.
• Identify, document, and evaluate security vulnerabilities and risks across information systems.
• Work with business owners, risk management, and vendors to define remediation tasks and timelines.
• Track remediation progress and report status to stakeholders and constituents.
• Monitor new vulnerabilities and advise on measures to reduce organizational risk exposure.
• Research emerging security tools and techniques to strengthen protections.
• Implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems as appropriate.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches with timely resolution.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation to align with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Support security awareness and training initiatives and continuous professional development.
• Ensure risks are managed in accordance with the Risk Management program.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience conducting third-party risk assessments and vendor due diligence.
• Knowledge of security and privacy regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI-DSS as applicable).
• Proficiency with vulnerability assessment and risk evaluation methods and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to drive remediation.
• Strong written documentation skills for policies, procedures, and assessment artifacts.
• Intermediate level in Supply Chain Design and Governance consulting practices.
• Experience level: 3-5 years in cybersecurity, risk, and compliance roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with third-party risk platforms or GRC tools.
• Background supporting internal programs within large enterprises or professional services.
