BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated AI Data Engineer 3 for remote opportunity.

Position Title: AI Data Engineer 3

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: CONTRACT

Pay Range: $92/hr on W2

Summary:

Data Engineer 3 (AI is not related, however besides that piece this was the best title to fit the role)

Design, develop, deploy and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models serving game client telemetry and gameplay features. Work directly with stakeholders such as executive producers, designers, engineers, and marketing leads to spec and build game telemetry data artifacts to enhance data-driven product decisions. Perform ad-hoc analysis when requested. Provide basic data visualization work to serve designed models through semantic and visual analytics layers.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with analytics director and studio stakeholders to determine data requirements in order to implement required pipelines, data models, and visualizations for core game insights.

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain logical and physical data pipelines, storage, and semantic artifacts.

Modify existing data processes to expand and extend capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements.

Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 5-7 years applicable experience required.
• Experience with SQL, pyspark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Fabric, and Power BI.
• Experience with data lake processes and patterns, such as medallion architecture patterns.
• Experience transforming raw telemetry into conformed data models.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics artifacts, such as telemetry spec and data models to ensure KPIs and measurements can be built out.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of success.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
