BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for Toronto Ontario CAN

Position Title: Project Manager

Location: Toronto Ontario CAN

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Type: [Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [Onsite]

Pay Range: CAD $50-$52/ Hr.

Job Description:

1. Job Profile Summary
Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives. Involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management

2. Job Description:
Assist in managing projects, ensuring they adhere to defined scope and project schedules.
Collaborate with project teams to understand project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Contribute to project progress monitoring and assist in issue and risk management.
Participate in resource allocation and budget monitoring.
Support the preparation of project status reports for stakeholders.
Actively contribute to the identification of process improvements and best practices.
Assist in data collection and analysis for project performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

3. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Proven experience in project and program management
Proficiencies in project management methodologies, tools, and software
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

4. Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Knowledgeable about Workplace Projects (Service Desk, Field Services, O365 Deployment, Printing Services)
Experience in Mining Industry will be a plus.
