CR Shared Services Associate
BCForward is currently looking for CR Shared Services Associate - Remote (CST Only)
Job Title: CR Shared Services Associate
Location: Remote - CST
Expected Duration: 6 months, Contract-to-Hire
Target Start date: 06/30/2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
Pay rate: $20.00/hr on W2
Position Overview:
The CR Shared Services Associate will serve as a first-level resource, providing comprehensive support to colleagues regarding data, policies, programs, and HR-related inquiries. The position will primarily focus on background check processes, with preferred experience using Sterling and/or Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to colleague inquiries in a professional, timely, and confidential manner.
- Support administrative tasks such as:
- Background checks
- Employment verifications
- Good standing confirmations
- Unemployment claims
- One-time payment approvals
- Guide users through self-service functions within HRIS systems.
- Maintain accurate and compliant colleague records per federal and state standards.
- Collaborate with Tier 2 and other Centers of Excellence (COEs) on projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in background check processing highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Sterling and/or Workday is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS and/or case management tools preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with Colleague Resources (CR) terminology preferred
