Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Pay Rate $25.00/hr on W2.
Need: 1+ years of experience in hazardous waste handling and chemical/laboratory environments.

Under direct supervision and in alignment with established procedures, this role provides clerical and administrative support to Safety, Health, and Environmental (EHS&S) activities. The position may involve collecting field data and/or maintaining and operating safety equipment in the field.

Job Description:
Under direct supervision and in alignment with established procedures, this role provides clerical and administrative support to Safety, Health, and Environmental (EHS&S) activities. The position may involve collecting field data and/or maintaining and operating safety equipment in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the EHS&S team with permits, inspections, documentation, and equipment calibration/certification.
- Assist with the characterization, collection, transport, and profiling of regulated and non-regulated hazardous waste.
- Support the preparation and approval of projects prior to shipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies.
- Verify drum counts and ensure drum conditions meet company policies and shipping requirements.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry.
- Ability to walk and remain on your feet for most of the day.
- Ability to routinely lift 20-30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull carts with materials.
- Comfort working with chemicals in a laboratory environment.
- 1+ years of hazardous waste handling experience.
- 1+ years of chemical or laboratory experience.
