Job Description
We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team in a professional banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-user computing support, device imaging and recovery, ServiceNow ticket management, and hardware/software deployment and a proven ability to deliver high-quality onsite support for executive and high-touch users while resolving incidents and requests efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, test, and replace hardware components and peripherals.
- Manage end-user hardware and software service issues to prevent escalation using ServiceNow.
- Reimage PCs, back up and restore user data, and validate software versions and functionality.
- Provide cross-divisional troubleshooting and maintain accurate ticket updates and work orders.
- Assist with administration of VDI, patch management, encryption, antivirus, and incident/request management.
- Utilize enterprise utilities and tools to troubleshoot end-user device functionality.
- Deliver professional, high-touch customer service to executive and business users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of software and hardware support in a professional setting, including server and Cisco knowledge.
- Proficiency troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Outlook, and Windows OS.
- Experience with VDI, desktop/laptop management, patching, encryption technologies, and antivirus tools.
- Hands-on skill backing up and recovering user data and reimaging devices onsite and remotely.
- Strong customer communication and service capabilities in high-profile environments.
- Knowledge of two-factor authentication.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability to work onsite Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, with flexibility after hours as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise banking environments and executive support.
