Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Product/Program Manager, PDE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware module definition, cross-functional program leadership, and build execution from concept to mass production and a proven ability to deliver complex consumer electronics programs on time through structured planning, risk management, and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner across engineering, product management, architecture, industrial design, operations, and vendors to investigate, define, and deliver next-generation products.
  • Create development, delivery, and qualification strategies and schedules aligned to system and PDE requirements, technical challenges, lead times, and business needs.
  • Manage communication within and between internal engineering and external vendor teams.
  • Set milestones, report program status, and identify and address risks and setbacks.
  • Drive closure of technical issues with engineering teams.
  • Establish best practices and development processes in a dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Plan and manage engineering builds from early prototyping through qualification.
  • Maintain complete and current program documentation for staff and leadership review.
  • Contribute to resource planning and budget management.
  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally based on program needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with phase-gate technology development and hardware program lifecycle.
  • Background in component and module qualification, validation, and characterization.
  • Proficiency with issue and risk tracking tools and methodologies.
  • Clear communication skills and effective collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
  • Problem-solving and organizational abilities with attention to execution.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, including flexible hours and on-site support when required.
  • BS in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Program Manager leading PDE programs from concept to mass production, preferably in consumer electronics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with consumer device supply chains and DFX practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile program practices within hardware development.
