BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist Team Lead in Remote

Expected Duration: 6 Months contract with possibility of extension

Pay Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:
Data scientist/data analytics leader leading a team of analysts to design, develop and deploy algorithms, predictive models, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to identify and recover Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse in Indiana's Medicaid program

Minimum Work Experience Required:
7 years' experience as a data scientist/data analyst; 5 years' experience developing analytics on Medicaid data specifically; 3 years' supervisory experience of a data analytics team; Indiana Medicaid data experience strongly preferred; SQL experience required.

Degrees:
Bachelors degree required; advanced degrees in data analytics-related fields a plus.

Certifications:
AHFI, CFE, RHIA, and/or other certifications relative to healthcare auditing and billing preferred; clinical background a plus.
