Position Title: Visual Designer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $23 to $24

Summary:

We're seeking a short-term visual designer to revitalize and produce a new visual identity for our org. This role is pivotal in shaping a platform for our operations and cohesive visual identity that resonates across our diverse teams in the Americas, India, and China, including engineering, PM, and design. The objective is to cultivate a vibrant, trusted people-first aesthetic that motivates our teams to embrace and act on our shared values and our unified vision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact the visual and functional aspects of how we operate, enhancing the way we connect and communicate within our global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executive office and design leads on aligning visual expression with organizational objectives.
• Elevate our visual design identity inclusive of logos, color schemes, fonts, icons, and images.
• Create templates for various communications such as PowerPoint, newsletters, and storytelling templates.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the engagement and effectiveness of implemented designs and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Expert in using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and other design software and tools.
• Knowledgeable of web design standards, best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design and SharePoint solutions.
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Creative, innovative, and attentive to details. Agile worker able to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English, with high competency in both written and verbal communication.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree or certifications required - experience is most important
• Disqualifiers: If a portfolio is not linked on the resume (if portfolio is password protected, please provide access info on resume to ensure seamless process)
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and staying in budget. Moving from discovery to execution quickly.

1. Visual Design Experience (portfolio of branding for team/company) (2+ YOE)

2. Microsoft Tool Experience (2+ YOE)

3. UX Design for SharePoint Experience (2+ YOE)
