Job Description

We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic FICC Risk Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery, Scrum facilitation, and quality governance within financial markets, and a proven ability to coordinate complex workstreams that support risk reporting and platform stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master to run sprint ceremonies and drive delivery of complex software solutions for a global risk platform.
  • Backfill Scrum Master role for approximately 4 months, then transition to a QA process management role for approximately 4 months.
  • Oversee compliance of test and release artifacts to enterprise requirements; no software or environment testing is involved.
  • Ensure traceability from high-level requirements to user stories, test plans, scripts, results, and test evidence.
  • Manage enterprise deliverables and coordinate with globally dispersed teams, including developers, external technology partners, and release management.
  • Provide expertise in Agile methodologies and hybrid Agile structures.
  • Contribute technical writing for regulatory assessments and inquiries, including SOX-related documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience running Scrum teams and applying Agile methodologies in technology delivery.
  • Proficiency with SDLC, release management, and QA toolsets such as JIRA, Octane, and Remedy, including dashboard creation for ticket, test case, and progress management.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and enterprise release governance.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders across technology and business functions.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and a focus on solving business problems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Domain knowledge in Financial Markets and technical business analysis within trading or risk management contexts.
  • Experience with SOX controls and SOX reporting.

Team & Technology Environment

The FICC Risk Technology team builds scalable risk reporting and generation tools for fixed income, currencies, and commodities. Users include trading desks, senior trading management, market risk, and middle and back office. Development primarily uses Python within the Quartz platform, with some C++ for high-performance components. The role will support platform stability, regulatory compliance, and project delivery across a global organization.

Interview Process

  • Round 1: Video interview with one interviewer.
  • Round 2: Video interview with two interviewers.
