Location: Remote (Preferred proximity to Centene Hubs: CA, FL, TX, MO)
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Assignment Duration: 12 months (Possibility to extend or convert)
Target Start Date: August 18, 2025
Training Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Post-Training Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMPosition Purpose:The Intake Prep Imager is responsible for entering patient and other medical-related information into designated systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of documentation. The role requires managing a steady workflow, resolving basic issues, and supporting coordination with physicians, insurance providers, and internal clinical staff.Key Responsibilities:

- Enter patient information into applicable systems accurately and efficiently.
- Complete intake process for both new and returning patients.
- Verify and input pharmacy and medical insurance information.
- Facilitate coordination of benefits by obtaining relevant documentation.
- Fax and communicate necessary information to physician offices.
- Collect baseline laboratory results and clinical documents to support care planning.
- Electronically adjudicate prescription claims and verify details such as insurance status, prior authorization, and patient copays.
- Assist with inbound calls from patients, providers, and insurance companies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician or medical office setting (e.g., billing, coding, prior authorization).
- Basic understanding of pharmacy and healthcare procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and general computer use.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Associate's degree.
- Experience inputting medical data in a pharmacy or healthcare office.
- Pharmacy Technician certification or license (specific to Missouri applicants for Foundation Care roles).
