Sr Administrative Business Partner
BC Forward is looking for Sr Administrative Business Partner in South San Francisco, CA 94080
Position Title: Sr Administrative Business Partner
Locations: South San Francisco, CA 94080
Anticipated Start Date: 6/30/2025
Expected Duration: 3+ Months of Contract
Pay Rate $43.00/hr. on W2
Job Responsibilities
- Expertly manage complex scheduling requests, often across multiple time zones, using Google Suite
- Maintain and organize shared team drives, calendars, and resources
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Genentech IT systems (e.g., cSuite, virtual collaboration tools)
- Handle confidential and sensitive communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and execute large internal meetings, department events, and team offsites involving sophisticated logistics and technology coordination
- Coordinate meetings with external business partners including scheduling, prep, and follow-up logistics
- Draft internal and external communications on behalf of leadership and the department
- Maintain department communication tools including gSites, Currents, newsletters, and team websites
- Organize feedback collection and integrate into communications or project workflows
- Oversee logistics related to space planning and office moves in collaboration with administrative leads
- Manage the candidate and interview process, including scheduling, hosting, feedback collection, and promotion packet preparation
- Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires including orientation, welcome events, equipment, and documentation
- Plan and facilitate team-building events and workshops
- Monitor and organize relevant training opportunities for team members and other administrative staff
- Process and manage vendor and speaker contracts, including engagements and payments
- Standardize and maintain centralized office supplies and inventory processes
- Maintain and update department organizational charts
Functional Job Responsibilities (30% specific to the role)
- This position supports senior-level executives and may independently lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and timely execution of administrative and operational functions. Specific responsibilities vary by department needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in administrative, operations, or project management roles (pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred)
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders and managing confidential information
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and independent execution capabilities
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across functions to achieve results
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work outputs
- Strong decision-making ability with minimal supervision
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (gMail, gCal, gSheets, gSlides, Trello, Jamboard, gMeet, Zoom)
- Ability to train or assist others with software and tools
- Familiarity with Genentech's organizational structure and systems is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent relevant industry experience
