Job Description

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile product management, Jira, and end-to-end product lifecycle and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, translate business needs into user stories, and deliver high-quality product increments.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with users and the Product Manager to define product vision and develop a roadmap aligned with that vision and company data strategy.
• Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand needs and translate them into clear product requirements.
• Develop EPICs and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Lead functional design based on knowledge of users and enabling technologies.
• Maintain and prioritize a robust product backlog; communicate changes to developers and stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and product sprints; plan releases and upgrades.
• Lead 1-2 Scrum teams with up to 13 contributors; ensure clear communication and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or similar technologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and articulation skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and document business processes; translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Knowledge of software development and web technologies.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability; strong organizational skills and delivery experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (8+ years).
• Agile certification/experience; SAFe certification preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.
• Experience in change and configuration management.
• Project management experience or certification; ability to manage project teams and delivery.
• 4+ years of Financial/Banking industry experience.
• Experience coordinating tasks across distributed teams and locations.
• Background in customer-facing projects and end-to-end planning and coordination.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
