Procurement/Purchasing Analyst
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement/Purchasing Analyst for an opportunity in Hartsville, SC
Position Title: Procurement/Purchasing AnalystLocation: Hartsville, SC
Anticipated Start Date: 06/10/2025Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duratioon: 12+ months contract
Job Type: [FULL TIME/CONTRACT/ON-SITE]
Pay Range: $20/ hr to $23/ hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive with the ability to take independent action and initiative in assigned areas.
- Analytical mindset with logical understanding of database management.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of policies, practices, and procedures in purchasing and accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between plant buyers and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Manage item identification, material pricing, and blanket purchase agreements.
- Systematically update and maintain material pricing data.
- Create and submit productivity reports on a regular basis.
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with suppliers, category managers, plant buyers, managers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for price management processes.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enhancement of process controls.
- Previous involvement in corporate social responsibility programs or employee engagement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
Requirements:

- Familiarity with a wide variety of policies, practices, and procedures in purchasing and accounting.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with proven experience in managing high-volume data tracking and entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; advanced Excel skills are a plus. Professional business acumen with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Analyze data and information to determine appropriate actions in line with established policies and procedures.
- Drive compliance by persuading internal customers to adhere to standardized practices.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy, including:
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration and train global counterparts, including team members in Asia.
