Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, mainframe SAS migration, Python, and Java UI integration and a proven ability to convert and modernize legacy SAS processes into performant Oracle-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Analyze existing SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Oracle-based solutions.
• Build and enhance a Java-based UI for ongoing process maintenance.
• Develop Python utilities for automation, data processing, and migration.
• Collaborate with the technology manager for reporting, planning, and delivery oversight.
• Use JIRA for task tracking within Agile or hybrid workflows.
• Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative delivery-focused environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe SAS and migration of SAS logic.
• Working proficiency with Python for automation and data handling.
• Experience supporting or integrating with Java-based applications.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow tools.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet timelines.
• Proven teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Consistent delivery of high-quality technical outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to COBOL on mainframe.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments.
