Job Description
We are seeking an Operations Specialist (Level III) to join our Wealth Management Operations team supporting Securities Settlement and Custody Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mutual fund and alternative investment onboarding, product data analysis, and quality control and a proven ability to manage complex setups, ensure data integrity, and collaborate across internal and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Review onboarding documents from fund companies for Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Unit Investment Trusts, and related products.
- Analyze product and operational data to ensure system supportability and compliance with standards.
- Enter and maintain product data on the proprietary platform and perform quality reviews.
- Test system enhancements aligned to business initiatives and document outcomes.
- Communicate frequently with internal partners, fund companies, and transfer agents.
- Assist with project work, evaluations, and scoring of fund company performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ownership and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- Curiosity to identify and implement practical, innovative process improvements.
- Ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks and project work in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Critical thinking with the ability to manage and resolve complex situations independently.
- Proactive risk identification, control, and mitigation.
- Excellent follow-up, organizational skills, and professional client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with mutual fund operations, alternative investments, UITs, or custody operations.
- Familiarity with transfer agent processes, product fees, and billing.
