Resource Management & Operations SpecialistBCforward is currently seeking an initiative-taking Resource Management/Operations Specialist for a REMOTE opportunity! Position Title: Resource Management & Operations Specialist Location: REMOTEAnticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 6+ Months with potential to long term.Job Type: CONTRACT (%3D40 HRS WEEKLY)/ [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]Pay Range: [$28/hr]-[$32/hr] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description:The Resource Management & Operations Specialist delivers resource management and operations support to business units, focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and process excellence. They manage deployment for practitioners by service area, service line, and/or region and contribute to day-to-day operations. Job Responsibilities:
- Deployment: Optimize utilization, propose practitioners for assignments, manage resource requests, support teammates, advise projects, utilize RM/Office tools, resolve staffing conflicts, influence staffing outcomes, escalate sensitive situations, maintain one-on-one relationships, understand key metrics, and collaborate with RM Information Services.
- Tools, Data Management, and Other Deloitte Technology: Maintain proficiency in management tools, leverage RM reporting team, and ensure data accuracy.
- Knowledge of Our Business: Understand the business, markets, service offerings, practitioner skills profiles, other business areas, project pipeline, and Greenhouse Experience team operations.
- Practice Operations: Review staffing data, provide insights, collaborate with leaders, and provide seamless Talent support.
- Advisor Organization: Share resource management information, implement Talent programs.
- Recruiting: Provide input on recruiting order board, fit and deployment options, and onboarding.
- Learning & Development: Recommend training programs.
- Performance Management: Communicate with leadership, participate in performance management.
- Finance: Collaborate with Finance Managers on forecasting and analysis.
- BA or BS undergraduate degree
- Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally.
- Strong competency in core professional skills, especially diligence, responsiveness, follow through, flexibility, initiative, and tact.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
