Job Description

We are seeking a Senior C++/C# Engineer for Trading Systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic trading platforms, low-latency systems, and integration across Unix and Windows environments and a proven ability to support production trading platforms, collaborate with traders, and validate releases through application testing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for a low-latency electronic trading platform.
• Engage with traders in AMRS and coordinate escalations with the trading platform vendor.
• Manage applications and governance, including maintenance of trading feeds to surveillance and audit systems.
• Review and implement enterprise security mandates for trading applications.
• Perform QA activities, review application changes, and execute application tests for release validation.
• Support integration projects leveraging Java with the vendor's systems across Unix and Windows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with electronic trading platforms and low-latency workflows.
• Integration and protocol expertise, with ability to debug in production-like environments.
• Development knowledge in C++, C#, and Java.
• Proficiency across Unix and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of futures and bonds contracts and market structure.
• Understanding of global markets and trading workflows.

Top Soft Skills:

• Clear communication with traders and operations teams.
• Strong domain familiarity with trading systems for futures and bonds.
• Ability to operate under time-sensitive, high-pressure support conditions.

Work Arrangement & Process:

• Start date: ASAP. Onsite requirement: 3 days per week in Jersey City, NJ (NJ2-525-17-01).
• Interview process: First round remote, second round onsite including traders.
• Glider: Candidate ID verification. Include current location and intended onsite location on resume.
