BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineer III for a Onsite opportunity!

Position Title: Hardware Engineer III

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Anticipated Start Date: 12/16/2024

Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Type: Contract (>%3D30 HRS WEEKLY)

Pay Range: TBD

Job Descriptions:

• Software or Hardware engineer with 5+ years of experience and have good firmware and data analytics background with HW/prototype development background as well.
• Familiar with common program languages and commands.
• Operating optical HW prototypes (including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, LEDs)
• Operating on existing SW tools (running command line scripts and GUI, familiarity with on demand server)
• Basic SW/HW troubleshooting skills (basic understanding of command line scripts, practices like restarting HW etc)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and have good firmware and data analytics background with HW/prototype development background as well.
• Familiar with common program languages and commands.

  Top 3 must-have HARD skills:

• Must have strong software skills, an optics background is great, this role is very hands on.
• Operating hardware prototypes. ( EE background is great)
• Software or Electrical engineer degree is a must

Job description:

• Operating optical HW prototypes (including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, LEDs)
• Operating on existing SW tools (running command line scripts and GUI, familiarity with on demand server)
• Basic SW/HW troubleshooting skills (basic understanding of command line scripts, practices like restarting HW etc)
• Train moderators on how to use prototype devices
• Ability to drive to and from Campus to vendor sites for weekly checks on prototype devices
