Position Title: Hardware Engineer IIILocation: Redmond, WA (Onsite)Anticipated Start Date: 12/16/2024 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12 Months ContractJob Type: Contract (>%3D30 HRS WEEKLY)Pay Range: TBDPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Descriptions:
- Software or Hardware engineer with 5+ years of experience and have good firmware and data analytics background with HW/prototype development background as well.
- Familiar with common program languages and commands.
- Operating optical HW prototypes (including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, LEDs)
- Operating on existing SW tools (running command line scripts and GUI, familiarity with on demand server)
- Basic SW/HW troubleshooting skills (basic understanding of command line scripts, practices like restarting HW etc)
- 5+ years of experience and have good firmware and data analytics background with HW/prototype development background as well.
- Familiar with common program languages and commands.
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
- Must have strong software skills, an optics background is great, this role is very hands on.
- Operating hardware prototypes. ( EE background is great)
- Software or Electrical engineer degree is a must
- Operating optical HW prototypes (including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, LEDs)
- Operating on existing SW tools (running command line scripts and GUI, familiarity with on demand server)
- Basic SW/HW troubleshooting skills (basic understanding of command line scripts, practices like restarting HW etc)
- Train moderators on how to use prototype devices
- Ability to drive to and from Campus to vendor sites for weekly checks on prototype devices
