(Prefers East Coast (EST) / NYC) Job Description: Channel Marketing Manager (Carrier Channel Marketing) Role OverviewA top technology company seeks an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to drive channel marketing strategy and execution with North American mobility partners. This role covers all marketing operations for bringing products and services to market, including budget management, experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and performance measurement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute North American retail channel marketing strategies in collaboration with category and product marketing teams.
- Build programs to optimize awareness, trial, conversion, and retention across multiple products and services.
- Oversee and manage channel co-marketing and OPEX budgets, ensuring performance against metrics.
- Identify and position new channel marketing opportunities in North America.
- Coordinate and manage marketing elements for business reviews, including regional share and performance.
- Deliver sales/marketing metrics and manage content and campaign activities across retailers.
- Lead and execute marketing and merchandising initiatives with retail partners within set budgets and KPIs.
- Continuously measure and optimize marketing programs, recommending tools and process improvements.
- Present key marketing programs to retailer partners, executives, and business development teams.
- Manage full-funnel regional accounts (including Canada) and execute lower-funnel marketing.
- Oversee 3rd party agency management.
- 4+ years of experience in channel marketing or a similar field.
- Demonstrated success with consumer technology brands.
- Experience building go-to-market strategies and executing across digital and physical retail channels.
- Experience working with online retail partners and understanding key advertising metrics (CPC, CPA, LTV, ROAS).
- Knowledge of GMROI, inventory turns, etc.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
- Effective conflict management and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience navigating various organizational environments.
- Ability to create and manage project trackers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Global retail experience (outside North America).
- Experience with challenger/new business technologies (e.g., Uber, Nest, Apple iPad).
- Creative/design background.
- Experience executing direct-to-consumer physical retail strategies.
- Experience taking projects from concept to execution.
- Experience working with sales, product, brand, channel marketing, and legal teams.
- Budget management and fiscal responsibility.
- Experience preparing executive-level presentation decks.
- Daily partner management.
- Support new product launches (wearables).
- Retail merchandising and field planning.
- Cross-functional team management.
- Consolidate and provide a full view of North America business and in-market programs.
