BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Service Center Assistant for an opportunity in Remote!

Position Title: Service Center Assistant

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 5+ Months of contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $14 - $16/hr

Job Description:

Position Title: Service Center Assistant (WFH)

Location: Remote

Duration: 05+ Months of contract with possible extension

Estimated Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr on W2

Work Environment:

Shifts: Must be able to work one of the following shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST, or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST with a 30-minute lunch break.

Training: M-F from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST starting October 4, 2024.

Description:

We are seeking a Service Center Assistant to handle inbound calls and support the claims application process. This role involves acting as a primary liaison between customers and the claims team, ensuring correct case assignment, and providing resolution support. The position is fully remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing issues related to the claims application and service process.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers via phone and written correspondence about claim documentation, time frames, payment information, and claim status.

Enter application information accurately into the claims management system, meeting both internal and external customer requirements.

Assign new claims to appropriate handlers and direct customer calls to the correct contacts.

Contribute to maintaining a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team.

Ensure attendance during scheduled work hours and participate in ongoing training as required.

Additional Functions:

Perform other duties as assigned.

Support the organization's quality programs.

Requirements:

Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call center environment.

Skills & Knowledge:

Knowledgeable in disability plan eligibility, coverage, and benefits.

Strong customer service skills with excellent oral and written communication.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Physical & Mental: Requires computer keyboarding, handling work-related stress, and multitasking. Consideration for reasonable accommodations will be provided.
