Lead Financial Analyst
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities: Oversee the development of annual budgets and forecasts,
ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Consolidate and review budgeting, forecast, and quarterly financial reporting (QFR) materials: Gather and analyze financial data from various business units, providing comprehensive insights to support decision-
making processes.
- Analyze budget and forecast variances: Identify key drivers of variance and communicate findings to the
leadership team, offering actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Perform cost analysis: Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses for capital projects, evaluating investment opportunities and providing strategic recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
- Review & assist in preparing QFR packages: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile
comprehensive QFR packages for distribution to corporate and senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Extract and analyze data: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to extract, manipulate, and
interpret data, providing meaningful insights and decision support to senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements: Continuously assess existing financial processes and
systems, identifying opportunities for standardization, efficiency gains, and waste elimination.
- Lead and coordinate finance technology initiatives: Partner with IT and finance teams to drive the
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as ERP systems and BI software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing cross-functional teams and driving
results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
