Job Description

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. The candidate will operate manufacturing equipment, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain accurate production records. The role requires safe, reliable performance in a fast-paced production environment with routine, repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment such as block press, stacker, packer, palletizer, and related process equipment.
• Perform routine adjustments to machinery and processes per direction and SOPs.
• Record and report production numbers accurately and on time.
• Lift and handle materials, including manual bag lifting, and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and comply with all site policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and group settings with solid interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills and accurate recordkeeping.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic and flexibility.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge and compliance with safety guidelines and good housekeeping practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with palletizers, packers, or block manufacturing processes.

Work Schedule & Conditions:

• Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am. Alternative shift noted: Mon-Thurs, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm (5:00 am - 4:00 pm possible, subject to business needs).
• Environment: May include exposure to dust and production noise, with varying temperatures.
• Personal Protective Equipment: Steel-toed shoes required and other PPE as directed.
