BCforward is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner 3 in Austin, TX 78759.

Position Title: Supply Chain Planner 3

Location: Austin, TX 78759 (Hybrid 3days onsite/ 2days remote)

Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 6 Months Contract with possibility of extension up to 18 months.

Job Type: Contract and Hybrid

Pay Range: $45/hr. on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required - 5+yrs overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required - Bachelor's degree is required to be eligible for this role.
  • Disqualifiers - Candidates with low experience, overqualified, senior profile
  • Best vs. Average - having supply chain, entry management, excel, IBP, cloud products, and data analytics ideal background.
  • Performance Indicators - quality of work, executing creative ideas

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Data analytics
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Excel/ Power B
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Supply chain inventory management

  • Summary:

    The main function of a Supply Chain Planner is to work with Inventory management team on driving inventory optimization.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
    • Review data such as demand, inventory, build orders, incoming orders, long term agreements etc. to determine impact on supply chain cost.
    • Accurate reporting of Inventory values and metrics to drive supply chain improvements.
    • Manage identification, tracking and mitigation of Excess and Obsolete inventory across supply chain.

    Skills:

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze Inventory across supply chain and associated metrics
    • Ability to do L3/L4 level detailed process documentation
    • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
    • Knowledge of managing excess and obsolete inventory
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 5-7 years related experience required.
