BC Forward is looking for Quality Assurance Specialist II (Remote) in EST/CST

Position Title: Quality Assurance Specialist II (Remote)

Locations: REMOTE - EST/CST
Anticipated Start Date: 03/27
Expected Duration: 3 Months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Timings:9 am-530 but flexible, No overtime required
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. on W2
Interview Process : Virtual Interview
Need: Min 2yrs of Healthcare Quality Assurance experience and MS OFFICE Proficiency

Job Description:
Position Purpose:
The role involves assessing the quality of departmental interactions, systems, and processes through various communication channels to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and improve routine quality concerns and processes.
Education/Experience:
  • Requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
  • Vocational or technical education may include on-the-job training or continuous learning.
  • Alternatively, equivalent experience gained through demonstrated knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflective of the position level.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, inspect, and assess the quality of interactions, systems, and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Document and report on the quality, performance, and remediation efforts/progress of risks for leadership review and audit purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide guidance materials to enhance departmental processes.
  • Leverage technology to continuously monitor and report on customer interaction performance.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of internal audit reports and findings to inform quality improvements.
  • Assist with document and data control (e.g., version control and numbering) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct random quality assurance checks to verify compliance.
  • Uphold quality assurance policies and procedures, offering guidance or remediation plans as needed.
  • Support process improvement initiatives (process or technology) to continuously enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with servicing members and/or providers as required.
  • Actively participate in quality calibration sessions with the quality team.
  • Assist with training new hires as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in Outlook
  • Strong computer skills
  • Vocational or technical education (if applicable)

  • Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Additional experience with relevant software tools or systems
