BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated UX Designer/Developer remote opportunity.

Position Title: UX Designer/Developer

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 11 Months (Potential chances for extension)

Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Summary:

The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding end-user needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problems/goals.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications

Skills:

• Experience in software design and development
• Experience in professional UI development
• Experience with data-driven UI development
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5-7 years' experience required

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates MUST be submitted with a portfolio or examples of previous work.
• Best vs. Average: Significant previous gaming industry experience, and a stellar portfolio described below.
• Performance Indicators: Quality of work, meeting deadlines, and must be able to collaborate.

Graphic Design in Photoshop, illustrative/visual skills| 5+Required Years of Experience
