BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Receiving Clerk

for an opportunity at New York!

Position Title: Receiving Clerk

Location: Buffalo New York 14203

Anticipated Start Date: 07/07/2025

Expected Duration: 12+ months

Job Type: Part Time (>%3D16-24 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - ONSITE

Pay Range: $21/hr to $23/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents, handling discrepancies, and ensuring accurate routing and documentation. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Receive and inspect all incoming ground and freight shipments
• Verify counts/weights with packing lists; report damages/discrepancies
• Enter receipts via Datasplice and stage materials for relevant departments
• Manage shipping documentation and label preparation
• Handle interplant transfers, capital project parts, and outgoing shipments
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area
• Coordinate with vendors on delivery schedules and issues

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 2-4 years of receiving/warehouse experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with multiple software platforms
