Application Architect IV
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Architect IV for an opportunity in Plano, TX!
Position Title: Application Architect IV
Location: Plano, TX!
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.
Job Type: CONTRACT, HYBRID
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr on W2
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:We are looking for an experienced backend developer to join the Employee Technology Platform Solutions team where you will be responsible for building and designing capabilities of an enterprise self-service portal for technology information, answers, and fixes to common issues.Key responsibilities:
* Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
* Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements and story estimation.
* Backend development utilizing HTML pages.
* Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
* Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
* Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
* Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
* Participate, contribute, and coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes
Required Skills:
* 3-5 years of experience developing backend applications in .NET Core/MVC using .NET Framework.
* 3-5 years of experience building application using C# and Visual Studio.
* 3-5 years of experience with SQL database.
* Must have extensive experience with building API based architecture.
* Experience building web applications using a modern JavaScript framework.
* Familiarity with React, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, JSON, and HTML5.
* Must be able to work in an agile environment using Jira to manage work.
* Experience with Git/Bitbucket source control.
* Comfortable working independently on the backend.
* Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Benefits:
