Position Title: Senior IT Analyst/Programmer

Location: Minneapolis, MN!

Anticipated Start Date: 3/10/2025.

Job Type: Contract, Remote

Salary Range: $47/hr - $57/hr.

Job Description:

Well respected health care system is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Image Management Systems unit on a 1-year contract. With appropriate training from technical staff, the selected candidate will be responsible for daily triaging and resolution of incoming ServiceNow tickets related to applications supported by the unit. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, customer service skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. This is a remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily triage and resolution of ServiceNow tickets related to supported applications.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve issues while escalating complex cases as needed.
• Collaborate with senior technical staff to develop proposals considering business cases and alternatives.
• Regularly review and update applications to ensure currency and functionality within the established environment.
• Maintain and support multiple systems or complex software applications across various locations.
• Produce and maintain system documentation, including requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans.
• Provide technical leadership and support to other team members.
• Work effectively across departmental organizations to gain consensus from stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between departments and vendors, ensuring efficient issue resolution and escalation when required.
• On-call support may be required for 24/7 system maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience, including 1 year of demonstrated technical experience.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Significant experience in systems analysis, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, staying focused on resolving issues.
• Communication & Customer Service:
• Experience working directly with customers and ability to represent unit standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Industry Experience:

• Healthcare IT experience preferred, particularly with enterprise-level applications.
• Team Collaboration & Leadership:
• Ability to evaluate and recommend alternative solutions to leadership.
• Experience providing technical and project leadership within a cross-functional team.
• Ability to work across departmental organizations and gain consensus from stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools for ticket management and resolution.
• Familiarity with enterprise healthcare imaging systems and related applications.
• Ability to interface with vendor support teams and escalate issues effectively.
