Pharmacy Technician - Shipping & Receiving
Position Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician - Shipping & Receiving is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, receiving inbound deliveries, and transporting packages between designated areas. This role also supports the distribution of office equipment such as computer components and furniture, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and manages Help Desk repair and servicing shipments. The position requires discretion when handling confidential materials and close coordination with internal teams and shipping vendors.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in shipping and receiving, mail processing, and/or general office or administrative support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet-based systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive materials, coworkers, and customers
- Working knowledge of USPS and FedEx procedures and regulations strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and transport computer equipment, furniture, and other office equipment between offices or buildings using carts and small moving equipment
- Distribute and collect office mail, packages, supplies, handouts, storage boxes, and computer hardware
- Examine outgoing mail for proper appearance, addressing, and completeness; seal envelopes manually or by machine
- Stamp outgoing mail manually or using a postage meter and weigh mail to ensure correct postage
- Process and maintain accurate records for certified mail, registered mail, express delivery mail, and packages
- Manage requests via phone, email, or in person related to office supplies, mail services, overnight deliveries, and equipment repair or servicing
- Fold letters or circulars, insert materials into envelopes, stamp, and dispatch as required

Typical Day in the Role

Schedule: Varies between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Overtime Expectations: May be required to stay later depending on FedEx pickup schedules; the team typically aims to conclude the workday by 6:00 PM
