Position Title: Pharmacy Technician - Shipping/Receiving

Location: 111 Chesterfield Industrial Blvd Ste 115, Chesterfield, MO 63005
Anticipated Start Date: 01/26
Duration: 6 months with contract to hire possibility
Shift: M-F 8am-6pm (8 hr shifts), No OT required
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2
Interview Process: 1-Phone Screen, 2-IN Person/Virtual Round

Pharmacy Technician - Shipping & Receiving


Position Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician - Shipping & Receiving is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, receiving inbound deliveries, and transporting packages between designated areas. This role also supports the distribution of office equipment such as computer components and furniture, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and manages Help Desk repair and servicing shipments. The position requires discretion when handling confidential materials and close coordination with internal teams and shipping vendors.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in shipping and receiving, mail processing, and/or general office or administrative support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet-based systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive materials, coworkers, and customers
  • Working knowledge of USPS and FedEx procedures and regulations strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and transport computer equipment, furniture, and other office equipment between offices or buildings using carts and small moving equipment
  • Distribute and collect office mail, packages, supplies, handouts, storage boxes, and computer hardware
  • Examine outgoing mail for proper appearance, addressing, and completeness; seal envelopes manually or by machine
  • Stamp outgoing mail manually or using a postage meter and weigh mail to ensure correct postage
  • Process and maintain accurate records for certified mail, registered mail, express delivery mail, and packages
  • Manage requests via phone, email, or in person related to office supplies, mail services, overnight deliveries, and equipment repair or servicing
  • Fold letters or circulars, insert materials into envelopes, stamp, and dispatch as required

Business Need:
An additional Pharmacy Technician is needed to support the shipping fulfillment team in anticipation of a projected increase in shipment volume beginning January 1, 2026.

Typical Day in the Role
  • Schedule: Varies between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Overtime Expectations: May be required to stay later depending on FedEx pickup schedules; the team typically aims to conclude the workday by 6:00 PM
  • Daily Responsibilities:
    • Packing and shipping orders
    • Receiving and processing deliveries
    • Restocking supplies
    • Building coolers for shipments
    • Assisting with end-of-day trash removal
  • Team Interaction: High level of collaboration with on-site shipping technicians
  • Work Environment: On-site shipping and fulfillment workspace

Candidate Requirements
Education / Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, ordering, packing, warehouse operations, or logistics
Licensure (Preferred)
  • Missouri Board of Pharmacy Technician License

Must-Have Requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Basic PC skills and foundational packing and shipping knowledge
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 45 pounds


  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications
    • Pharmacy technician licensure
    • Prior experience shipping regulated or pharmaceutical products

    • Lack of basic computer or shipping knowledge
