Job Description

We are seeking a Java Full-Stack Engineer, Identity (Senior Associate) to join our dynamic team supporting a Deloitte project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, and GCP and a proven ability to design, build, and operate secure identity-focused services and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and APIs with high performance and responsiveness.
• Build and enhance services supporting identity workflows and integrations on GCP.
• Integrate with enterprise identity standards, including defined authentication and authorization flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability, and participate in code reviews.
• Implement CI/CD, environment promotion, and operational readiness, including logging, metrics, and runbooks.
• Support production issues, participate in incident triage, and drive defect fixes to closure.
• Stay current with Java technologies and frameworks to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring with full-stack experience and strong API design skills.
• Experience deploying and operating services on GCP or a comparable cloud with secure runtime identity patterns.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and SDLC controls.
• Unit testing, debugging, and code review experience with a quality mindset.
• CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness practices.
• Experience level: 5+ years in relevant roles. Primary skill level: Advanced (6-9 years) in GCP Java.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with identity standards and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
• Prior work in Agile or Scrum settings with enterprise security and onboarding standards.
