BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Network Technician for an opportunity at Tucson, AZ

Position Title: IT Network Technician

Location: Tucson, AZ

Anticipated Start Date: 01/10/2025.

Expected Duration: 4+ Months Contract with Strong Possibility of Extension.

Job Type: [Contract (40 hours weekly)], [Remote]

Pay Range: $38/hr. - $40/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Work involves staging many wireless access points for a large project rollout.

Job Description

Experience Requirements:

• Several years of Basic IT Network experience with network switching and PC connectivity
• Basic network troubleshooting PC and switch problems
• Working with Cisco Wireless Access Points
• Basic cabling knowledge, network jacks, IDF closet cross-connects, and troubleshooting
• Participate in the implementation of new or refreshed networks
• Provides site Smart hands support for network engineers
• Perform general administrative requirements pertaining to timesheets, inventory records of equipment and ticketing system (SNOW)
