Title: Lab Engineer IIILocation: Fremont, CA OnsiteDuration: 12 Months potential extension Role Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer or Materials Engineer to support test activities in our hardware analysis lab. The role focuses on evaluating electronic components, performing electrical and material characterization and supporting engineering teams with accurate and well-documented test results. Responsibilities * Perform electrical or material testing, signal evaluation, and component-level performance assessments * Document test workflows, observations, and results with clarity and precision * Write and maintain test procedures, lab operating guidelines, and workflow documentation * Maintain a safe working environment and follow established lab protocols * Support equipment readiness, calibration tracking, and basic inventory management * Collaborate closely with engineering teams to interpret results and support project needs Required Knowledge and Experience * Background in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a closely related field * Experience in lab testing tools and ability to learn new lab tools and instrumentation quickly * Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Preferred Experience
- Exposure to RF testing or signal integrity concepts and material characterization with some of the following instruments: Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, real-time spectrum analyzers, optical microscopes, thermal microscope, SEM, CT-Scan systems, 3D printer, FT-IR, X-ray tools, and EDX systems
- Perform electrical or material testing, signal evaluation, and component-level performance assessments
- Document test workflows, observations, and results with clarity and precision
- Write and maintain test procedures, lab operating guidelines, and workflow documentation
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow established lab protocols
- Support equipment readiness, calibration tracking, and basic inventory management
