Job Description

We are seeking a Business Planning Project Manager to join our business planning team focused on pricing, packaging, and monetization for cloud and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis, cross-functional stakeholder management, and launch operations and a proven ability to drive compliant product and service launches, align stakeholders, and maintain accurate project tracking.

1. Minimum 4-6 years experience with data analysis and synthesis (Excel, Powerpoint)

2. Minimum 4-6 years experience with cross functional collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders.

3. Minimum 4 years experience with product launches and project management software (various tools).

Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing pricing discussions by applying established frameworks, validating data, verifying pricing, and driving alignment across teams.
• Provide launch operational process support when vendor capacity is limited or unavailable, including Control Tower card updates, Change Requests, pre-production ICM creation and updates, Change Summary validations, and exception handling.
• Coordinate and support cross-functional meetings, leadership reviews, and team syncs; attend launch meetings and relay updates, risks, and resource needs.
• Advance team enhancements, best practices, onboarding support, and special projects that improve process and operational efficiency.
• Maintain Project & Review Tracker entries, create and update projects, and flag topics for leadership reviews in partnership with Business Planners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• PMI certification.
• 4-8 years of project management experience in technology or related environments.
• 4-6 years of data analysis and synthesis using Excel and PowerPoint.
• 4-6 years of cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product Marketing, Finance, or similar stakeholders.
• 4+ years with product launches and project management tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong vendor management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Background in software industry products and services; familiarity with large, matrixed enterprise environments.
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks and develop risk management plans.
• Strong analytical aptitude to interpret complex concepts and drive decisions.

Candidate Requirements

* Years of Experience Required: 4-8 overall years of experience in the field.

* Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role, however a PMI certification is a requirement. A degree in a related field especially a masters degree is preferred, however experience is most important.

* Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain a background in the software or tech industry, especially working for a large, matrixed enterprise tech company working with cross functional teams and stakeholders. The best candidate works well with ambiguity.

* Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on their ability to seamlessly launch meter, meet project management tools updates, and good feedback from the team they work with.
