Project Manager IBCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager I for an opportunity in United States. Position Title: Project Manager ILocation: Menlo Park, CA preferredAnticipated Start Date: 05/13/2024.Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 9 Months.Job Type: Contract Pay Range: $40-$45/hr. on W2.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Title: Project Manager IDuration: 9 monthsLocation: Remote Responsibilities
- Guide researchers through Client's Purchasing process, including supporting contract requests and raising purchase orders for new research projects.
- Manage procurement related projects to drive critical process optimizations and solutions.
- Advise Purchasing Coordinators and UX Researchers on best practices.
- Partner with Purchasing Program Manager to ensure trackers and dashboards are consistently and accurately updated to inform on team insights and process gaps.
- Maintain oversight of purchasing queues and overall team timelines
- Communicate vendor processes and triage questions in support of UX Researchers
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership (weekly, monthly, quarterly), highlighting key metrics to inform business strategy.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor resources (SOPs, Documents, Team Wiki, Toolkits, etc) for UX Research teams.
- 4+ years of administrative or project management experience
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior management.
- Ability to multi-task and execute multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and find solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience understanding stakeholder needs, gathering requirements, and crafting solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences from Engineers to Vendors, to Researchers
- Prior experience with data analysis and data analytics tools
- Prior experience in procurement
- Prior experience working in an early-stage environment with lots of ambiguity and moving parts.
- Prior experience working with User Experience Research, operational risk, compliance, and/or vendor procurement.
- Proficiency in SQL and Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Salesforce, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree required.
