Tax Analyst

Requirements:

* [941, 944 Forms]
* [State & Local Income Tax Compliance]
Role & Responsibilities:
- Understanding of federal tax returns including but not limited to schedule Rs
- Provide second tier resolution for variances discovered through tax research
- Perform second level audit reviews of check recon process for approvals to finance
- Work closely with internal finance and accounting teams to provide updates and support of research requested.
- Provide input to the development of tax strategies.
- Advise accounting, attorneys, and finance on tax matters which affect the management of accounts.
- Analyze tax matters and drive appropriate business decisions by making recommendations and involving key business resources.
- Escalation liaison for Compliance Solution Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- CPA preferred
- Ability to effectively articulate complex tax problems and solutions
- Strong technical tax knowledge and experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
