Sourcing & Logistics Analyst
Position Title: Sourcing & Logistics Analyst
Location: Plano, TX, Columbus, OH, or Jersey City NJ
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shift Days: Monday - Friday
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE
Pay Range: [$45/hr] - [$46/hr]Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description: The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, logistics, or both, and possess strong analytical and reporting skills. This role will play a key part in data analysis, market research, and the development of actionable recommendations to drive category performance. There is potential for this position to become full-time based on performance and business needs.Key Responsibilities- Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to sourcing, supplier performance, and logistics operations.- Review contracts for necessary language and assist in the drafting of commercial agreements.- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.- Support the Category Manager in RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing and logistics opportunities.- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings initiatives.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement sourcing strategies.- Assist in developing action plans and recommendations based on data-driven insights.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).- 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain analysis.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, etc.).- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.- Experience with data collation, summarization, and reporting.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with PowerPoint or similar tools for presenting findings and recommendations.- Familiarity with sourcing/procurement systems or logistics platforms is a plus.
