Position Title: Sourcing & Logistics Analyst

Location: Plano, TX, Columbus, OH, or Jersey City NJ

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Shift Days: Monday - Friday

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE

Pay Range: [$45/hr] - [$46/hr]

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, logistics, or both, and possess strong analytical and reporting skills. This role will play a key part in data analysis, market research, and the development of actionable recommendations to drive category performance. There is potential for this position to become full-time based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to sourcing, supplier performance, and logistics operations.

- Review contracts for necessary language and assist in the drafting of commercial agreements.

- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

- Support the Category Manager in RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.

- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing and logistics opportunities.

- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement sourcing strategies.

- Assist in developing action plans and recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain analysis.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, etc.).

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Experience with data collation, summarization, and reporting.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with PowerPoint or similar tools for presenting findings and recommendations.

- Familiarity with sourcing/procurement systems or logistics platforms is a plus.
