Expected Duration: 6+ Months with possibilities for extension
Job Type: Contract: 40 hrs/week
Pay Range: $55 to $60/hr on W2Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Architect and implement AI/ML platform components for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
* Develop APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities to front-end and backend systems.
* Automate workflows for data ingestion, feature engineering, and model retraining.
* Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements for AI workloads.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI services into enterprise applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Programming Languages: Python (primary), plus Java for platform services.
* AI/ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers.
* Model Serving: Experience with tools like MLflow, TorchServe, Triton Inference Server, ....
* Workflow Orchestration: Kubeflow, Airflow, or Prefect for ML pipelines.
* Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP for AI services and container orchestration.
* Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm charts).
* CI/CD for ML: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar for automated model deployment.
* Data Engineering Basics: Familiarity with ETL, feature stores, and data versioning (e.g., Feast, Delta Lake).
* Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, and tools for model drift detection.
* Security & Compliance: Knowledge of identity management, encryption, and secure API design.
* Bonus: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), and LLM orchestration frameworks.
