Job Description

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager I to support client's Networking Supply Chain Sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in emissions accounting, circularity, and program management and a proven ability to drive cross-functional execution and supplier engagement to achieve sustainability targets across the value chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mature a risk-based sustainability program across corporate and operational teams.
  • Lead GHG emissions accounting and reporting, circularity initiatives (recycled materials, 4R), and upstream human rights advancement.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise on climate and environmental priorities, including energy, carbon, renewable energy, PUE, water, biodiversity, plastics, and waste, with awareness of EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to shape positions on carbon accounting and green finance frameworks.
  • Coordinate supplier outreach for Responsible Minerals, RBA audits, emission reductions, circularity requirements, and human rights due diligence.
  • Identify and socialize circularity best practices with internal teams and partners.
  • Develop policies and procedures for used, end-of-life, returned, and scrapped electronic equipment management.
  • Engage top customers, translate expectations into roadmaps, and align internal teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Maintain accountability to milestones and support delivery of sustainability commitments.
  • Maintain dashboards and tracking tools for KPIs, audits, supplier maturity, and compliance.
  • Oversee component sustainability scorecards and manufacturing partner QBRs.
  • Track RBA Corrective Action Plans and document supplier progress.
  • Monitor smelter conformance and support removal of high-risk smelters through supplier outreach.
  • Coordinate supplier trainings, including invitations, materials, and participation tracking.
  • Assist with internal and customer data requests and materials for HPE teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in emissions accounting and reporting across scopes and value chains.
  • Knowledge of circularity principles, waste management, and end-of-life electronics handling.
  • Strong project management, including planning, budgeting, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication with the ability to build trusted relationships across Engineering, Sales, Customer Experience, EHSS, Compliance, and Legal.
  • Knowledge of high-tech industry operations and outsourced supply chains, including global emission profiles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience integrating sustainability into design, engineering, or business processes.
  • Background in circular economy or design-for-environment principles.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with attention to detail and comfort with quantitative analysis.
  • Adaptability in a changing environment and demonstrated initiative for process improvement.
