BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12+ monthsJob Type: FULL TIME (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - REMOTEPay Range: $65/hr to $75/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Key Responsibilities:
- We're bringing on full-stack engineers to join high-impact Agile teams delivering modern apps that matter.
- If you love writing clean code, collaborating cross-functionally, and deploying software that makes a difference.
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering, or 7+ years with an Associate's degree
- Strong skills in Angular (JavaScript) and C#/.NET Core
- Experience building and deploying apps on Google Cloud or Cloud App Factory (CAF)
- Proficiency with unit and automation testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, and Cypress
- Hands-on understanding of REST APIs, modern app frameworks, and front-to-back architecture
- Working knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (preferred)
- Familiarity with SDLC best practices: source control (Git), CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and production support
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments - you're comfortable with fast-moving standups and clear sprint goals
- Strong problem-solving instincts, time management, and the ability to deliver independently
- Solid communication skills - you know how to collaborate and explain technical things without the jargon
- Design, build, and test full-stack features for real-world applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates across engineering, QA, and product
- Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Write clean, scalable code that's easy to maintain and deploy
- Take ownership of your work - from feature ideation to post-deployment support
