Job Description
We are seeking a Technology Risk & Regulatory Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in regulatory examinations, audits, internal controls, and technology risk management and a proven ability to coordinate complex assessments, synthesize technical responses, and drive timely, accurate deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate complex regulatory and audit examinations, as well as GCOR assessments focused on technology.
- Develop, author, edit, and review well-positioned response materials, overviews, and deep-dive presentations.
- Manage assessment flow and timelines from initiation through completion, partnering with technical subject matter experts.
- Review technical evidence to ensure complete and accurate responses aligned to requirements.
- Analyze control deficiencies, drive appropriate disposition, and track remediation outcomes.
- Engage stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Audit, GCOR, and GIS to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
- Communicate risk, regulatory requirements, and impacts to all organizational levels, including senior leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years in internal control, regulatory, audit, risk, legal, or compliance within financial services or technology organizations.
- Ability to research and connect data to perform thematic analysis.
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to simplify and solve complex problems collaboratively.
- Excellent writing and communication skills to synthesize technical content for varied audiences.
- Self-starter with strong organization, able to perform in a fast environment with minimal oversight.
- Detail orientation with ability to assess documentation for accuracy and relevance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a global, fast-paced setting and make timely decisions.
- Facilitation and presentation skills, including conveying key messages to senior leaders.
- Project management capability with strong prioritization and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of technology domain disciplines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience assessing the design and effectiveness of risk and control environments supporting operational services.
- Control monitoring and testing with issue identification and remediation planning.
- Implementation of optimized controls and enhanced QA practices for business continuity.
- Management of QA activities, including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
- Experience managing and reviewing front-line unit responses for exams, audits, and inspections.
- Data accuracy and inspection metrics governance for dashboard reporting.
Role Logistics & Process Notes:
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite starting day 1.
- Tentative start: May or June.
- Interview process: 1-2 video rounds.
- ID verification via Glider required.
