Bcforward is currently seeking highly motivated Usability Researcher 3 for an opportunity in Remote.

Position Title: Usability Researcher 3

Pay Range $55.00

Job Description:

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute rapid usability tests and concept evaluations to support internal product teams.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate research findings into actionable improvements.
• Conduct contextual inquiries and workflow studies with internal users, especially those involved in incident response and resolution.
• Analyze and synthesize data quickly to meet tight timelines without compromising quality.
• Advocate for user needs in the development of tools that support operational excellence and incident handling.

Education/Experience:

• Rapid UX Research Methods: Minimum 5 years, with proven ability to independently run end-to-end rapid research studies in a fast-paced environment.
• Data Analysis & Written Communication: Minimum 5 years, with demonstrated skill in analyzing research data and producing executive-level written reports.
• Incident Management Experience: Preferably with Microsoft's ICM or similar large-scale systems; strong preference for candidates with direct experience, but open to those with relevant large company incident management backgrounds.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience conducting fast-turnaround UX research in agile environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft's internal incident management systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience working on internal tools for engineers a plus.
