Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Logistics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling, inventory control, and transactional logistics processes and a proven ability to support production and non-production operations while meeting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and lean goals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform material delivery, floor stock replenishment, stocking, receiving, packaging, and transportation activities.
- Execute inventory management tasks and maintain accurate transactional records in internal business systems.
- Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks, pallet lifters, fork trucks, and other approved equipment safely.
- Support ESD handling requirements and adhere to all safety and quality procedures.
- Coordinate daily schedule priorities and communicate status to cross-functional teams.
- Participate in team initiatives, lean projects, and process improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to training and mentoring of team members as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with material handling, receiving, shipping, and inventory control transactions in enterprise systems.
- Ability to interpret and use performance metrics to drive team accountability.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across supply chain, manufacturing, and administrative functions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds regularly with proper technique.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ESD handling practices and certification-based training in material handling equipment.
- Background in lean, continuous improvement, or Agile problem-solving within logistics or manufacturing.
