BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer

for an opportunity at Eagan, MN-Location!

Position Title: Software Engineer

Location: Eagan, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 02/24/2025

Expected Duration: 10+ Months

Job Type: Full Time (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - Remote

Pay Range: $55/hr - $65/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Key responsibilities:

• Develop services for data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, analytics, and ML.
• Build and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Python, Go, Java, Terraform, and cloud services (GCP, Azure).
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
• Implement authorization mechanisms for secure data access.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow coding best practices.

Required Skills:

• Programming: Python, Go, Java, C++
• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker
• Data Engineering: Big Query, Cloud Storage, Data Warehousing
• APIs: RESTful API design and Fast API development
• Security: Access control, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Machine Learning & AI: Vertex AI, integration with AI models

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or scientific research.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM solutions (Vertex AI, Gemini AI, etc.).
