Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite Position

Pay Range: $65/Hr - $71.28/Hr on W2

Job Description:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Technical Test Execution is required. Advanced level of proficiency in Automation Testing Tools is required, such as Playwright or Selenium. Amazon Web Services (AWS) proficiency at an advanced level, Software Manual Testing proficiency at an advanced level, and User Experience (UX) Testing proficiency at an advanced level are suggested.
* Develop and implement automated testing strategies to enhance the quality engineering function
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative testing products and solutions
* Analyze and optimize testing processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
* Conduct user experience testing to improve overall product quality
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies

Additional role specifics:
Scope: provide execution support for various business processes including Front end, Order Management, Purchase Flow, Fulfillment, Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and Revenue Recognition.

Typical Tasks:
- Automate the process of placing orders and collecting evidence using test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
- Manually place orders, collect screenshots, and gather other evidence artifacts.
- Support the coordination of UAT activities across multiple teams.
- Create UAT test scripts and outline customer journey steps.
- Assist in identifying critical vs. non-critical test cases.
- Support the training of business teams on UAT test cases.
- Execute UAT test scripts and document results.
- Capture and prioritize feedback from stakeholders.

Key Skills & Personal Qualities:
- Strong ability to follow technical instructions and navigate around roadblocks
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive way of working, and strong communication
- Ability to operate in fast paced environments

Highly preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, CloudShell, Curl, Step Functions, State Machines)
- Experience in Ecommerce, Telecom, or Internet service provider industries
