BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Architect/Engineer Role for an opportunity in Boston, MA 02108!

Job Title: Architect/Engineer Role

Work Location: Boston, MA 02108

Expected Duration: 03 Plus Months Contract

Client: Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Pay Rate: $52.28/hr on W2

This will be a hybrid role to work 1 day a week onsite in Boston, or Marlborough area.

Duties would include:

- Reviews analyzes and approves architectural and engineering plans for healthcare facilities

- Provides technical engineering assistance and consultation internally externally

- Reviews reports memoranda architectural and engineering plans for completeness accuracy and content.

Qualifications needed:

- Knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering.

- Knowledge of terminology and standard abbreviations used in civil engineering

- Ability to analyze and determine applicability of civil engineering data to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans specifications blueprints and drawings.

Skills:

Knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering.

Knowledge of terminology and standard abbreviations used in civil engineering

Ability to analyze and determine applicability of civil engineering data, to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, specifications, blueprints, and drawings.

Knowledge of local building codes/regulations.

Experience to include ability to interpret Electrical/HVAC/Mechanical drawings

Ability to communicate effectively, and decisively.

Ability to work independently. and communicate with team via phone or virtually.

Prior experience in construction, or maintenance of healthcare facilities
