Position Title : DevOps/SRE Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC 28202

Job Type: 40 hours work week
Pay Rate: $60/hr to $65/hr

Job Description

Enterprise File System - application and runtime deployment operations

Linux admin skills

Playbook and documentation skills - SRE values

Experience automating configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Selenium

Participate in operational support shift rotation, including weekend coverage.

Service Validation and Testing: as part of Change Management, design and perform service validation and testing.

Demonstrate strong communications skills by effectively communicating with users, team members, application development teams, other infrastructure support teams, and management.

Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills

Incident Management: coordinate incident resolution with service users and other infrastructure teams, leveraging enterprise Incident Management systems, strong customer-focus, and technical knowledge of the applications.

Change Management: ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes. Participate in reviews of proposed changes, the change control processes, change implementations, and post-implementation Reviews

DevOps or SRE

Web Application support - Apache Tomcat, JAVA

Experience with automated testing processes and tools

Software development exposure - Java / .NET

Must have Scripting ability (Python, Perl, and/or shell)
