BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Developer for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ

Position Title: Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

A candidate who is authorized to work independently

Pay Range: $60- $65/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

The Fraud and Claims team is looking for a Java Developer. The ideal candidate will have the technical skills, be self-motivating, and they must be able to independently and with other teams, like the quality assurance consultants. Candidate must have had hands-on practical experience outside of school labs.

Required Skills

Primary Skill - J2EE

Secondary Skill - RedHat OpenShift

* Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

* Should have good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL & Restful services, WS-Security,

* Hands-on experience with tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace & Autosys, etc

* Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)

* Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting

* Hands-on Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and Openshift.

* Hands-on experience with Code Quality Tools like JUnit, Sonar/Crucible

* Experience in modern development methodology including Agile
